Hello to any new readers here from Substack! I’m Carson AKA Bassmasterrush, two years ago I started a newsletter on Reddit where I would aggregate the upcoming Bass/Dubstep/Drum N Bass/… shows in NYC for the next couple months. Since then the newsletter has evolved and I’ve done things such as artist interviews and collective highlights. The intent is to get the ball rolling in generating more buzz and awareness around bass music events, promoters, etc., so feel free to post about anything BASS (Trap, Dubstep, Experimental Bass, Drum N Bass, Bass House, UKG, Jungle all of it!) -- what music you're listening or looking forward to, what events are coming up, or any festival stories you want to share 🔮. As the summer winds down, so do house/techno rooftop parties... bassheads can rejoice as warehouse parties/shows take the forefront again.
